7. Grape Seed Extract
The tiny seeds inside grapes contain anti-oxidant substances and vitamin E. These anti-oxidants prevent free radical damage to the walls of the blood vessels. They also promote the formation of collagen. Collagen is a protein that helps maintain the elasticity of connective tissues. It also strengthens the walls of the blood vessels. This prevents leakage of fluid from the veins and swelling of the legs. You can use powdered grape seeds or commercially available grape seed extracts. Grape seed oil can also be used. It can be taken orally to relieve pain and inflammation.

8. Cayenne Pepper
Cayenne pepper is extremely rich in vitamin C and flavonoids. Both of these protect the walls of the blood vessels and promote collagen formation to keep these walls healthy and elastic. But the most important substance in cayenne pepper is capsaicin. Capsaicin has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and blood thinning properties.
Cayenne pepper powder can reduce the pain and inflammation due to varicose veins. It can also prevent blood clots and ulcers. You can begin by taking cayenne powder orally. Just mix half a teaspoon cayenne pepper powder in a cup of water and gradually increase it up to 1 tablespoon. Topical application of capsaicin or cayenne pepper extract will also increase blood circulation and bring pain relief to tired and sore legs.
